Potholders!

(NOT MY WORK)
I totally want to just stay home and crochet for a living...
"if Only!".

I love her blog and she is inspiring.

I love cotton and I like making potholders. Not the ones you use, the ones you "Display".

Her site gives me ideas!

Christmas is coming up...

Crochet this week

Tuesday I crocheted 6 flower wash cloths from cotton in the post op room. Dad did not need the stent, but they did not realize that till they cathed him for the stent.

That night, I crocheted 4 soap sacks while watching (listening) GI Joe.

Wednesday night I crocheted 4 cell phone pouches and one flower broach.

Wonder what I will work on tonight?

Summer Crochet

The summer humidity makes the 49 Cent drinks from Q-T sweat, so Dad asked for a sleeve...
Ta Da! the Coolest Large Coozie around, by Dana.

But then I was a show off and made Donna a coozie for her wine coolers!
There must be no limits to my nerd-ism!

Another Green Crocheted Market Bag

Tonight I also finished up another WIP. Another Green Market Bag, made with cotton.

A finished W.I.P

I finished my cotton bath goodies that were made with "Cotton I LOVE THIS YARN".
Toilet tank buddy- started as a rug and I was off on the edges so I stopped there. (woops)

Corner Stitch hand towel too.
I will make a bath rug and more hand towels, but I love how this is turning out. You should see the bathroom with my Tweety Bird stuff. I will finish it soon and show off!

Confetti Lap Cloth

Shanita's Baby Girl Shower Gift

This beautiful cotton yarn was found at The Studio off the Plaza. Shame it was the very last one.
So I pulled out my 'H" hook and worked up this corner crochet pattern into a beautiful burp cloth.

Farmers Market Bag

This weekend I sat down with double strands of cotton Sugar n' Cream yarn and made this Farmer's Market Bag without a pattern. In two evenings I created this durable bag. My part in the effort to Go Green. The strap looks short, but it has been my experience with cotton that with the weight of the produce, it will stretch. So this wide, short strap will be perfect once it is a full bag.
I made a small pocket for my Drivers License, cash and cell phone. It is detachable. So now I am ready for the Farmer's Market to begin.
